Assignment #1

I want to take this class because I enjoy English as a subject. It is my strongest subject by far. I find digging deep into a book's true message and character development fascinating.
I am excited to learn new vocabulary and to have my writing skills critiqued. On the other hand, I am also nervous to write so many AP level essays. Even though this is my second year of AP English and my fifth year of advanced English.
In this class I hope to learn many life skills as I had learned in sophmore honors English. I also hope to learn new writing and reading techniques.
I am looking forward to AP English with Dr. Preston once again. I'm sure it will be entertaining and very educational.
